the unanimity of this opinion makes one thing clear: ACTION !!!! let us all as Liberian, quasi and indigenous, rise up so that Liberia can rise and stand.

We all or the majority of Liberians have expressed similar concerns. The answer is crystal clear. YES ! Liberia will rise up again. But first, we as individuals should be the first to rise up. One could argue that it was destined by our Creator, as consequences for our sins, a tribulations period in the history of our beloved Liberia that it fall. All great nations once had a history of falling but they did rise up. The paradoxical analysis in this aspect is too heavy for one to come in terms with. The outcome of this tragedy so far seem beneficial to scores of Liberians who found themselves spread around the Whole Wide World. Now it is time that we all help Liberia rise up again.

Liberia will rise if each one of us Libeians is determined to rise as individauls.

Thereby our families will rise, our communities will rise, and the country will….

Liberia will rise only when Liberians themselves brace the odds to rise in their personal selves. the victory of Liberia would only come from Liberia! Liberia cannot continue to rue the ravages of war, disease, hunger, and death, rather Liberia should evolve a philosophy of liberation; liberation not from the shackles of slavery and imperial servitude; liberation not from the craning eyes of paupers adorning the cracked streets of suburban Liberia; but a liberation of an ideological sort that propels action towards that which the philosophy portends; a liberation philosophy that does not emancipate Liberia from the vagaries of the past but that which pitches them face to face with the confrontational realities of the diversities of the present, of the moment (augunblick); the now that fashions and forms the future.

Liberia is no longer crying for freedom, nor for cease fire. No! Liberia is calling for large-heartedness of her citizens, of her sons and daughters. Liberia is calling for ideologies of progress, for ideologies of patriotism and individual self-worth.

it is, thus, the onus of this forum to look inwards (into Liberia) and see how far we can go in proferring solutions to the many questions raised by our kids for the enjoyment of younger generations yet unborn.

@ Gabin, welcome to Liberia, (the land of plenty), as i heard from my former landlord who was a resident of Liberia before the war broke out, he said liberia was a and indeed a land of plenty, well organised, structure, well pattern, infeact thier dollar then was like American dollar. He further said Liberia was like an “oyinbo country” then. Now because of greed, selfishness and self centredness of some people they pulled down the glory, but we want liberia to “rise again”.

My fellow discussants, surely, Liberia will rise up again.

This is a good topic that needs to be explored and discussion here sustained. I an not a Liberian but interested in the happening there. As and African, I also have the blood of Liberia flowing in me. Common guys, lets continue with this discourse and explore realistic options for pushin Liberia and Africa forward.

IF LIBERIA WILL RISE UP ,IT IS BASE ON WE LIBERIANS OURSELF CAUSE IF WE DON ’T FORGET OUR DIFFERENCES OR THE PAST THAT WE HAD FOR ONE ANOTHER ,LIBERIA WILL NEVER RISE UP .AND SECONDLY ,LET LIBERIANS LEARNED HOW TO FORGIVE AND FORGET ONE ANOTHER ,AND WE SHOULD NOTE THAT WHAT HAPPEN IN THE PAST HAS COME AND GONE .

My fellow country men and women, permit me to provoke your consciences in a very positive way as I throw you the life line to rescue Liberia from the dungeon. In an age of computer and a fast growing economy and modernization, where the sticks are risen so high with a backdrop of competitiveness, I wish to engage you in an attempt to have you motivated if you haven’t, to rise up from your slumber, of partying and good time, of no definite plans and goals,of no burning desire to aim high, of not making use of the opportunities to educate yourself, but to rise up where ever you are, for when each of rises up then Liberia will rise.
